ABOUT US

History

Since 1997, Offshore Ale Co. has served Martha’s Vineyard residents and visitors with hearty meals, award-winning craft beers, and an overwhelming sense of community. The island’s first and only brewpub, Offshore dishes up lunch and dinner daily, year-round. Offerings range from brewpub favorites like fish and chips and steamed mussels to delicious thin-crust pizzas and refined seafood entrees. Nine beer taps rotate seasonally through twenty or so styles; there’s something for both the hop heads and easy drinkers in your family.

In the summer, our patio and beer garden is a great place to kick back and enjoy the sunshine, in the offseason cozy up to our roaring fireplace in our warm dining room. Locally owned and operated by Bill and Sue Honeycutt, Offshore is a must on your list of island treasures not to be missed. So drop by, grab a pint and a bite, and cheers your neighbor; if they’re not your friend yet, they will be soon!

Offshore Ale dedicates itself year-round to fostering a strong community experience through quality craft beer. A portion of proceeds from select brews supports various island organizations.  Our West Coast style Lazy Frog IPA, named for the eponymous game store in Oak Bluffs, helps pay for the maintenance of the island’s disc golf course.

Recognition and Awards

RECOGNITION & AWARDS

Offshore Ale Co. has received several of the prestigious Best of the Vineyard awards

from Martha's Vineyard Magazine year after year. That's why we are an island favorite!

Our accolades include Best Year-Round Restaurant. Best Bar/Pub, and Best Family Restaurant.

Our dangerously drinkable Blue Lobster Belgian Strong Ale is not only a late Summer favorite but also a fundraising source for independently operated MVY Radio as well. Through these and various other charitable programs such as our Dine-To-Donate events, Offshore Ale has established itself as a philanthropic mainstay of Martha’s Vineyard.
